BREMERTON -- The sun was shining bright Saturday in Bremerton as owner and tattoo artist Aaron Tingey cut the ribbon at the grand opening of his first shop, Red Peony Studios.

The staff at Red Peony Studios prepared for the grand opening by making a giant pot luck dinner, decorating the space inside and out and hanging balloons throughout the plaza to draw attention to the shop.

In addition to free shop tee shirts, attendees of the event were given free entry into a raffle for tattoo gift certificates and artwork from the shop.

Aaron and Krystin gave a speech before cutting the ribbon, commemorating the official opening of Red Peony Studios.

With the ribbon cut, it was time to turn on the open sign and welcome new clients to the shop.

Clients and artists alike celebrated the opening of the new shop by talking about what they love most, tattoos. Along with showing off the work they have had done by Aaron, Krystin and Lennie, attendees planned new art pieces with the artists.

As the sun began to set and the celebration came to an end Aaron and crew thanked everyone for their continued support, cleaned up and closed the shop for the night.
